Royal Sundaram car insurance provides eleven add-ons which can be chosen by the policyholder while purchasing the car policy at a nominal premium cost. Additional coverages are explained as follows:

Zero amortization coverage: This is also known as bumper-to-bumper coverage which provides coverage for the full value of repairs without any deduction for depreciation, in the event of damage to the vehicle. Thus, even if the car is old or partially depreciated, the insured gets the full value of the loss.

New vehicle replacement: With the additional benefits of the replacement of the new vehicle, the insurance company offers the price on the road of the car, in the event of total loss or theft of the vehicle.

Windshield glass cover: This coverage ensures that your NCB is not affected for the replacement of broken windshield glass, as you get the full replacement cost covered with this add-on.

Voluntary deductible cover: The insured can benefit from an additional reduction of up to 15% to 35%, if he opts for voluntary deductibles. The deductible is any amount that must be incurred by the policyholder before the insurance company pays the claim.

Baggage loss coverage: Provides coverage in the event of loss or damage to luggage placed in your vehicle.

Spare car clause: The insured is paid by the day for transport, when his car is in one of the network’s garages for repair.

BCN Retention Blanket: This cover retains the bonus-malus even if the insured makes a claim during the last period of insurance.

Back to invoice: Offers the advantage of recovering the amount of the value of your car’s invoice, which includes the cost of registering a new vehicle and its road tax.

Tire protection cover: The insured receives coverage for tire blowouts, bulges, punctures, cuts, accidental damage and more.
