Digit’s auto insurance provides seven add-ons that can be chosen by the policyholder when purchasing the auto insurance policy at a nominal premium cost. Additional coverages are explained as follows:

Zero amortization coverage: This is also known as bumper-to-bumper coverage which provides coverage for the full value of repairs without any deduction for depreciation, in the event of damage to the vehicle. Thus, even if the car is old or partially depreciated, the insured gets the full value of the claim. This plan also covers the cost of repairing and replacing the vehicle’s rubber, plastic and fiber components.

Back to invoice: Offers the benefit of recovering the amount of your car’s invoice value, which includes the cost of registering a new vehicle and its road tax.

Passenger cover: This coverage also provides financial protection for paid drivers and other co-passengers in the event of an accident.

Tire protection cover: The insured gets coverage for punctures, bulges, punctures, cuts, accidental damage and more.

Consumables Coverage: Coverage of consumables such as grease, nuts and bolts, engine oil, brake oil, among others.

Roadside assistance: With this add-on, the insured can call for mechanical assistance at any time when needed. If one opts for the additional roadside assistance, the insured can simply call his insurer and the latter will send the mechanical assistance in the right direction. It also offers other services such as towing, refueling, when the vehicle is broken down in the middle of nowhere.

Engine and gearbox protection: Offers financial protection against any loss or damage to the engine and gearbox resulting from any kind of oil leak, acts of God or mechanical problems.
