Sainsbury’s Bank was the UK’s first ‘supermarket bank’, providing financial services such as credit cards, loans and insurance.

Sainsbury’s Bank offers Single Trip, Annual Multi-Trip and Extended Trip (up to 548 days) policies in three levels of cover: Silver, Gold and Platinum.

All Sainsbury’s Bank travel insurance policies come with Covid-19 cover as standard, including cancellation cover if you are diagnosed with the virus within 14 days of the booked departure date. There is also cover for emergency medical treatment and repatriation if you contract Covid-19 abroad and, if you choose its Platinum level cover, unlimited medical costs.

Nectar Loyalty Card holders get a 20% discount on all travel insurance. Customers who purchase an annual policy also earn double Nectar Points on their Sainsbury’s purchases.

Policyholders can call a 24/7 medical helpline in the event of an emergency.
